Spring Ahead!

 Here we are looking at our Spring Break! Room 6 is celebrating our Arctic Research learning with a  "Polar Party" today. Two Arctic movies and a yummy ice-cream snack - a perfect ending! 

Approaching Spring Break, we have been busy working! Our writing for this week was a letter to a secret pal in our classroom. Each child picked a name and wrote a letter to give today. Excitement built as students used criteria to write their letters. This morning, each child received a letter. One girl said that her letter almost made her cry, because it was so special.

Problem solving, mental math facts, multiplication - math classes have been busy!

Last but not least, our class helped tape Mrs. McDonald to the wall this morning! All for a good cause! Enjoy the photos and ask your child about it. Happy Spring Break to all of our families.
